Event Description:
Please join us as our speaker will be Wende Nichols-JulienExecutive Director of The California Conference for Equality and Justice.

The California Conference for Equality and Justice (CCEJ) is a human relations organization dedicated to confronting bias, bigotry and racism through education, conflict resolution and advocacy.
Established in 1963 as the National Conference of Christians and Jews, the organization became the independent and known as the California Conference for Equality and Justice (CCEJ) in 2005. CCEJ directly serves 5,000 people each year through our transformative conflict resolution and education programs in communities and schools.  Our critical youth programs give young people a safe place to learn and engage in dialogue about culture, communication and conflict. CCEJ’s programs give students a place to belong where they are valued and listened to, learn the skills they need to lead and succeed, and gain the courage to share those skills with others. One recent CCEJ graduate aptly explained that CCEJ teaches students that “a conversation resolves a conflict better than a gun.”
Our Programs include Conflict Resolution, Building Bridges Youth Programs, Community Anti-Bias and Leadership Education Programs and Interfaith Programs.
